Full Rules
The full set of rules will be communicated to all the participants about 1 month before the championship.
International Participants Info
1. Medals for international participant
Medals
In each category (5), the top 3 international participants will get 1 trophy and 3 medals.
The Final
The overall international winner (across all categories) will also participate in the overall final for demonstration purposes, but cannot win the overall European title.
2. Am I a European or an International Participant?
European participants
are considered European those who work in or have the nationality of one of the countries in this list.
International participants
All other countries in the world.
N.B. : the New Massage Association is apolitical, and determines European participants based on geography only, not on political or administrative lines. This means we do not consider the European Union (EU) or the Eurozone.
For example, the UK is not in the European Union (EU), but it is on the European continent. So UK participants are European participants.
FAQ
When should I arrive?
For your comfort we suggest to book your arrival for the 23 May and departure the 27 May 2024.
Arrivals
If you are taking a workshop: 24 May 8:30am.
If you are not attending a workshop: any time on the 24 May, for check-in and badge.
Departures
27 May 2024 or later if you visit Rome.

Do I need my model?
No. You will massage another participant. And you will be a model.
If you would like to bring your model, you can, but it is not required.
Which category should I choose?
All participants will do 2 or 3 massages. They can be in the same category or different, it is 100% your choice.
We strongly suggest to not show the same protocol 3 times.
I am not from Europe, can I participate?
The European Massage Championship is open to ALL massage therapists in the world.
Each category has winners for the Europeans, and for the International participants.

How long will the massages be?
The total time will be about 1h10mn. This will include time to speak with your client, and with optionally with the judge if you would like to explain your intentions.
Can I do my own personalized massage/mixed/freestyle protocol?
Yes. In fact, innovation is welcome and encouraged. In this case, choose the category which is dominant in your massage.
Do you provide tables? Towels?
We will provide you with table/chair/futon.
All the rest you must bring: towels, oils, tools, etc.

How much does the European Massage Championship 2024 cost?
- European Massage Championship 2024 participation: 240€.
- Workshops: 100€ for 1 | 180€ for 2
- Observer: 39€ for the 3 days
- Official t shirt: 29€
I want to come but only to watch
We think all massage therapists have something to show and it is a shame to come and not participate! But we are open to having spectators. The entry is 39€ for the full championship.
