(Born in Guyana) While working for the MoJ (Ministry of Justice) as a civil servant, I completed my reflexology & massage courses in the same year 2001. and continue yearly training.
My springboard came working with mental health in the community as a volunteer, but now get paid for it; then hospitals (oncology & mental health), care home, Bosnia Sarajevo (victims of war), where I relied on developing my skills, in scarwork, integrating fusion massage and adding each year something new, thus becoming more creative as one integrates. I always feel I could learn more and enjoy watching others work to learn more either on courses, YouTube and competitions, but nothing beats putting it into practice. It changes people lives!
You not only built trust with your clients but an environment where clients can let go through talking or just taking time out in quietness to relax even when you sometimes need to work deep.
