NewMa Events and Championships — Refund Policy

Organizer: New Massage Association (NewMa), Association Loi du 1er juillet 1901 créée sous le numéro W751254881 , Siège social: 52, rue Saint-Maur 75011 Paris
(the “Organizer”).

1) Scope

This Refund Policy applies to registration fees paid for NewMa Events, Championships and Masterclasses booked through the official website.
This policy covers participant-initiated cancellations; organizer-initiated changes are covered in Section 4.

2) Participant cancellations (timeline)

Refund eligibility is calculated based on the number of calendar days before the official Event start date/time (as published on the website):

Full refund (100%): Cancellation up to 60 days before the Event.
50% refund: Cancellation between 59 and 45 days before the Event.
25% refund: Cancellation between 44 and 15 days before the Event.
No refund (0%): Cancellation less than 14 days before the Event.

3) Ticket rollover (next year)

Instead of a refund, a participant may choose to retain their registration for the following year’s edition, subject to availability and the Organizer running the next edition in a comparable format.
If prices change year-to-year, rollover may cover the amount paid and any difference may be payable (or credited) as specified on the website at the time of rebooking.

4) Organizer changes or cancellation

If the Organizer cancels the Event entirely, the Organizer will communicate the available remedies (refund and/or transfer/rollover options) and the applicable timelines.
If the Organizer changes the schedule, lineup, jury, venue room allocations, or the order/timing of competition rounds, this is generally considered an operational change and does not automatically entitle participants to a refund (unless required by applicable law).

5) How to request a refund

Send an email to [email protected] from the email used at purchase, with your full name, order number, and a clear request (refund or rollover).
Refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible, and may take 5 business days to process after confirmation.

6) Fees, non-refundable costs, and chargebacks

If third-party payment or transaction fees are non-recoverable, the Organizer may deduct those fees from the refundable amount.
Initiating an unjustified chargeback while a refund request is being handled may delay resolution until the payment dispute is closed.
All refunds are subject to a €5 flat fee reflecting transaction costs incurred by the Organizer, which will be deducted from the refunded amount.
