Destacaría, la calidad humana de todos los organizadores y profesionales del evento, la ubicación del local, muy buena. Mejoraría, la zona de cambio de ropa, para tantas personas, se quedó pequeñísimo. Se hubiera agradecido, por parte de la organización, alguna pieza de frutas o botellitas de agua, en ocasiones hacia mucho calor.

It was truly wonderful reconnecting with therapists I had previously met in Copenhagen and Canada—such familiar faces made the experience special. The organizers themselves were absolutely fantastic and clearly put a lot of effort into making the event happen.
That said, I found the event itself quite hectic. There was a noticeable lack of respect for scheduled setup and start times, which created a lot of unnecessary stress and disorganization. During my three performances, I was disappointed that judges rarely came by to observe me. As an international participant, I had hoped for at least a fair shot at being considered for a silver or bronze placement. No such medals were given out for us.
Considering the significant financial investment, the effort to travel, and the cost of transporting equipment, it’s disheartening to walk away feeling like it was all for nothing. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot in good faith recommend this championship to other international participants.

Thanks for your honest answer Maurizio. I’ll answer with a bit of info which I hope will help shed light and give you insight:
– 505 massages over a day and a half, and we were not a minute late on the program.
– You were most certainly considered like all participants, and in fact had quite a good ranking – 3rd place in Wellness (congrats!), which is quite an achievement.
– International participants actually proportionally have more medals than Euro participants (about 10% of Euros get medals, about 16% of Internationals get medals).
I do always say, and say it again, please do not come only for medals. They are rare and challenging to get. And of course it is legitimate to target a medal, but there is much more – I hope! – to this event, than medals.
One must come for the experience, learning, community and career changing encounters.
