My name is Galyna Shyrshyk. I am the founder and owner of “City SPA | Gdansk” in Poland, Massage Therapist, SPA Therapist, Massage Therapy Instructor.
I decided to participate in this competition because I want to learn new techniques from the best massage therapists from other countries. I am always looking for ways to improve. I look forward to be inspired by fellow massage therapists and to share my knowledge and expertise with others.
I started my journey with massage 8 years ago. I work with Western and Oriental techniques, and I also like to create spa rituals. I combine my medical education with a holistic approach. I strive to touch both the body and the soul with my work. My clients get effective treatments but they don’t feel as if they are a patient in a medical clinic. The atmosphere is relaxed like at a resort.
I have many returning clients from all over the world. They often tell me that my massage was the best massage they ever had. I am very happy to hear that, and it inspires me to surpass myself and surprise the client. At their next visit I want to give them “the best massage in their life” again.
My international clients come to Gdansk to discover and explore the city and the people here. A visit to my spa is part of their experience of another country. I enjoy to speak with and to create a connection with my customers. Every massage session is like a small journey.
To me, massage is not a job — it is a lifestyle.
