Kwok Shum Hubert Mak

I am a Registered Massage Therapist based in Markham, Ontario, with nearly a decade of experience, and the Founder and Clinic Director of MakCare Health and Wellness Centre. From the beginning of my career, I have been passionate about continuous learning and professional growth. This same drive has shaped my leadership style, as I continually encourage and motivate my team to pursue advanced courses that expand our collective knowledge and techniques in massage therapy. Together, we strive to provide treatments that are innovative, effective, and tailored to the unique needs of our clients. My personal journey has also led me to explore the competitive side of massage therapy. Competing has pushed me to refine my skills, embrace new perspectives, and think creatively about the art and science of healing. One of the most transformative milestones in this journey was my participation in the Massage Championship World Tour in Tokyo 2025. That experience not only deepened my passion for innovative and unconventional techniques but also reaffirmed my belief in the importance of connection, inspiration, and shared learning within our profession. As I continue on this path, I look forward to showcasing my skills on this platform while expanding my horizons through collaboration. More than anything, I am eager to build meaningful connections with other therapists whose dedication and passion mirror my own.
