How to accompany the body in releasing its tensions by listening to the tissue and breathing? Often, masseurs tend to declare war on the knots and tensions they feel under their fingers. They sometimes insist on trying to “remove” tensions and feel unsuccessful when, after many kneading techniques, they are still there, almost mocking their expertise.
How to explore another way of working that gives meaning to the presence of this tension, allows for perspective, and finds a form of language that the body can understand and hear. In greater accuracy for the person being massaged, in welcoming and non-doing. The subtlety that makes the difference and makes the person on the table feel understood and respected, and thus can let go of what is contracted, tense, blocked.
The techniques and methods taught during this workshop will allow you to find the right balance in performance, efficiency, and consideration of the body’s needs, rhythms, and timing.
